Perio Protect – Gum Disease Treatment

The Perio Tray® by Perio Protect: Non-Invasive Therapy for Gum Disease

Perio Protect Trays-and-Kit

Gum disease is caused by a bacterial infection that is hidden below your gums. Dental cleanings can effectively treat the bacteria, but when you return home the cycle often continues. Bacterial cells grow back in just hours after a cleaning, and toothbrush, rinse and floss can’t reach deep enough to address the infection at home.

The Perio Tray by Perio Protect gently applies medication deep under the gums to fight the infections. You use it at home for just minutes each day. The Tray is comfortable, flexible, and custom-fit precisely for your mouth.

With Perio Tray therapy, you have a new chance against the infections. In additional to healthier gums, patients commonly report whiter teeth and fresher breath. If you’ve been told that you have gum disease (gingivitis or periodontitis), ask our team if Perio Trays are right for you.

Teeth Whitening

Teeth Whitening

Whitening or bleaching your teeth is a common and popular procedure to lighten and “whiten” your teeth. There are many “Bleaching” procedures on the market today that have good results, others that have mixed results, and yet others that don’t work or are painful. We are dedicated to using the best products and proven procedures and that is why we use only 3 bleaching methods.

Bleaching is a result of the concentration of the bleach and the length of time that the bleach tray is on the teeth. This has been proven to be the most successful and predictable, over and over again, so anytime you see bleaching in “One Hour!” or laser bleaching you may want to think again. Lights of any kind provide little or no effect to bleaching teeth and will usually dehydrate the teeth to look like it is whiter, but it is actually just drier. Dry teeth look lighter but within 24 hours usually return to their original state. Therefore, we recommend bleaching strips, bleach trays or power bleaching for quicker results. The best bleach strips are sold at our office because the FDA has limited the concentration of bleach to 7% for all over the counter products*. We offer you 14% bleach strips which work faster and more effectively. Professionally fabricated bleach trays are still the #1 recommended way to whiten and brighten your teeth. Bleach trays are easy, reusable, and if taken care of may last for many years. We recommend that almost anyone can bleach their teeth if they are looking to take years off of their smile and look years younger.

*That goes for any type of over the counter bleach/whitening product, be it strips, liquids, gels or bleach of any kind.

Invisalign™ Clear Braces

Invisalign
Invisalign™ is a trademarked, patented technique to provide Orthodontic Dental treatment. Invisalign™ Dentists have been trained and certified by Align Technology. Not all General Dentists offer Invisalign™ to their patients. Our Doctors provide Invisalign™ to help improve function and beautify smiles.

Invisalign™ takes a modern approach to straightening teeth, using a custom-made series of aligners created for you and only you. These aligner trays are made of smooth comfortable and virtually invisible plastic that you simply wear over your teeth. Wearing the aligners will gradually and gently shift your teeth into place, based on the exact movements your dentist plans out for you. There are no metal brackets to attach and no wires to tighten. You simply pop in a new set of aligners approximately every two weeks, until your treatment is complete and you achieve the confident smile that you’ve always wanted. The best part about the whole process is that most people won’t even know you’re straightening your teeth.

Porcelain Veneers

0saves
Veneers
The term veneer means a thin covering over another surface. In dentistry we can cover a tooth with a thin layer of porcelain (or similar material) to enhance function and appearance. Veneers can be directly placed on teeth without modification (tooth reduction) but are more traditionally placed after some amount of modification.

“Lumineers” are a brand of veneers placed without tooth modification requiring anesthetic, often termed “No Prep Veneers” or “No Shot Veneers.” Dental veneers offer a Dentist one of the most extraordinary tools in creating new, beautiful, harmonious, straight smiles. Our Doctors have been placing veneers since 1986 and have been “Lumineer” Certified since 2006, shortly after “Lumineers” were reintroduced.

If you have perfect teeth that are just not straight, we suggest Invisalign™ to straighten them. If, however, your teeth are not only crooked but also unattractive due to color, old crowns or fillings, then we suggest Porcelain Veneers. In most cases, porcelain veneers can give you a beautiful, straight smile in just two visits.

Dental Implants

Dental Implants
Dental implants are simply a great alternative to replace missing teeth. By placing an implant to replace a missing, broken, or unfixable tooth, the normal healthy adjacent teeth remain untouched. Implants are also used to secure loose partials and dentures. Most implants are placed by specialists however our Doctors have been restoring dental implants since 1988 and have been placing dental implants selectively since 1998.

Full Mouth Reconstruction
The terms Full Mouth Reconstruction, Full Mouth Restoration and Full Mouth Rehabilitation are often interchangeable when we describe the process of simultaneously rebuilding or restoring all the teeth in your upper and lower jaw.

Full mouth reconstruction involves restoring the teeth, bite, muscles and self-esteem back to a natural looking and youthful feeling condition. Using technology and their artistic eyes our doctors are able to successfully restore this condition. Full mouth restoration may be the answer to many problems, such as tooth sensitivity, worn teeth, sore jaw muscles, and recurring headaches. Our doctors have advanced education, skill and experience to treat these conditions. At Warm Springs Dental, we have successfully completed hundreds of revitalizations.

Reasons why a full mouth procedure could be required:

  • Missing teeth due to trauma or decay.
  • Injured or fractured teeth.
  • Severely worn teeth due to long term acid erosion (acid reflux, foods and beverages) or grinding.

If you think you need a full mouth reconstruction, please contact Warm Springs Dental at (702) 454-0818 to schedule a free comprehensive exam and consultation with one of our doctors. At that time the doctor will determine the extent of your problem and discuss the treatment options that are available to you.
